Yousician, a music tech company approached us to design their very first US Office in Meatpacking, NYC. Housed in a beautifully renovated loft style building, we made sure to bring the brand to life while honoring the existing architecture. We used the company’s signature green as a jumping off point to create tone on tone rooms and as a base color to coordinate other colors with.
Instead of an additional meeting room we converted one of the closed spaces into a music inspired hangout room complete with bar and record player taking the concept of “Resimercial” to another level. This allows for a more fun and informal setting to have team and client meetings in and also serves as a wonderful backdrop for the company.
As another homage to the music world, we created custom black and white prints of musicians and wheat pasted them to the wall to create a strong and instagrammable entry wallpaper and focal point.
We included a communal table in the open office area to create yet another work and meeting destination for clients and employees alike and to ensure there were plenty of different spaces in which to work and collaborate.
