We got our start with fashion, retail and pop-ups, so we were thrilled when our former event clients, Harper’s Bazaar, reached out about a pop-up activation to celebrate Anne Klein’s 50th Anniversary. We scouted an awesome location just off Houston on Wooster Street that became home to: a morning panel discussion and breakfast, an exhibit of archival Anne Klein pieces, a pro- fessional head shot studio and of course, a remake of Anne Klein’s personal work studio, which served as the perfect back drop for photo ops.
We worked closely with the team at Bazaar to choose mannequin looks to showcase the key archival pieces, choosing to do an army of mannequins in similar poses for greater effect. An abstract take on the original Anne Klein logo served as a wall mural background to the runway formation of mannequins.
Anne Klein’s former Creative Director pulled fabric swatches and sketches, and gave us a list of props from the 80’s to source and style the space with. It became the ultimate design studio and back drop for Instagram photos.
