March 19th marks the beginning of Spring and with it comes a new, exciting and powerful energy we can capitalize on. As humans we follow the same natural cycles and so unlike January, NOW is the perfect time to make changes to your home or office as it will feel easier and you will feel more inspired to spring into action. Before springing into action, it’s important to take a moment and really think about the intentions you have for your space.

On a purely functional level – consider these few things to get started:

  • How is this space used now? Is that how I want to continue using it?
  • Am I able to move around the space freely and easily perform the tasks that I normally do there? Are there things I need to change to be able to use it more efficiently?
  • Do I feel productive/restful/calm/energized when I am in this space? Is that what I am going for?

On a deeper level, think about the more abstract things you want for yourself in the space:

  • Do you want to attract love?
  • Do you want to feel a sense of sanctuary?
  • Do you want to feel connected to your family?

Maybe you’re working on your office space and you want to attract more clients, or you want your employees to feel happier or more like a team.

Get clear on your intentions and then decide what changes you can make to accomplish them.

We all have things in our homes that are in need of repair or change. A lot of times, we see them so often that even if they really bother us, they’ve become part of the landscape and we can’t even see them anymore.

These un-repaired or bothersome things become a drain on us – they actually sap you of your energy. And most of the time, they don’t even take a lot of time or money to fix!

To give yourself a fresh start, walk around your home and perform an ‘audit’:

Not only will this give you a renewed appreciation for your home and boost your mood, but the results will give you the motivation to take on more projects.

The same goes for the office as it does your home. Maybe your supply closet needs organizing, or maybe you have a few lightbulbs that need changing. Fix them and watch office morale get a boost!

For the easiest way to update ore refresh a space- use paint!

  • This can be as small as touching up the scuffs on the wall that have accumulated over the years, or repainting an entire room.
  • Choose a color that you have always loved
  • Create a sanctuary space for yourself by choosing a calming color
  • Are you looking for an energy boost? Choose a vibrant color for a room that you want to feel productive and alert within.

Painting a room in your home or office create a huge impact for minimal investment.
